“Custodian Bank” is a banking or other financial institution that provides services in maintaining the custody of stock certificates and other assets of a mutual fund of an individual or corporate client, including receipt of dividend, interest rates payments and administer other authorized transaction settlements on behalf of account holders.
“Proof of Ownership” is a document in the form of a Participation Unit Ownership Confirmation Letter that stipulates the amount of participating units owned of the account holder.
“Stock Exchange" is the regulating organization that serves as a marketplace, and provides the system as well as the facilities for anonymous participants to trade stocks and or shares at the exchange.
“Security” is a financial asset as referred to in Law No. 8 of 1995 on Capital Market, including its implementing rules, for subscription under a Mutual Fund investment.
“Unit Subscription Form” is a form that must be completed, signed and submitted in original to the Investment Manager by the candidate investor for the subscription of participating units in a mutual fund.
“Unit Redemption Form” is a form that contains data relative to the condition of the participating units subjected to redemption and submitted by the unit holder in original, as a requirement to redeem units under a mutual fund.
“Trading Days” are days in which securities are traded at the Stock Exchange, which is Mondays through Fridays, with the exception of National and Public Holidays as determined by the Stock Exchange.
“Calendar Days” refers to all days within the whole year based on the Gregorian calendar without the exception of and including national and public holidays determined by the Government at any given time, or regular workdays that may, due to some unforeseen circumstances, be determined by the Government as an extraordinary workday.
“Workdays” are the given workdays of Mondays through Fridays at which time Bank Indonesia operates and performs clearing transactions, with the exception of national and public holidays determined by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and Bank Indonesia.
“Collective Investment Contract” refers to contractual documents between the Investment Manager and Custodian Bank that is binding to the unit holders, that authorizes the Investment Manager to manage the collective investment portfolio and the Custodian Bank to perform such collective custody.
“Investment Manager” is an individual or institution that provides securities investment management services and or collective investment portfolio of a group of investors, with the exception of insurance companies, pension funds and banking institutions active in its own businesses based on applicable regulating rules.
“Net Asset Value (NAV) Portfolio” is the fair market value of securities and assets in a mutual fund holding, minus all of its underlying responsibilities. The method applicable in calculating the NAV must refer to applicable regulating rules and policies approved by BAPEPAM & LK, and are published on every Trading Day.
“Fair Market Value” is the price at which assets are traded interchangeably between anonymous parties, and not under forcible acts and or due to liquidation.
“Subscription” is the act of subscribing the participating units of a mutual fund.
“Unit Holder” is an individual and or a group of individuals who owns participating units in a mutual fund.
“Redemption” is a mechanism to redeem the participating units by the holder based on applicable terms and conditions.
“Securities Portfolio” is a pool of assets within a mutual fund.
“Prospectus” is a printed and documented statements or written information for the purpose of general offering of a mutual fund for presentation to prospective investors, with the exception of statements and or information that are not considered as part of a prospectus determined by BAPEPAM & LK.
“Mutual Fund” is a medium used to acquire public funds for investments in a securities portfolio by the Investment Manager.
“Fixed Income Fund” is a mutual fund invested in Government and Corporate debt, bonds and money market instruments.
“Equity Fund” is a mutual fund invested in stocks, shares and money market instruments.
“Mixed Fund” is a mutual fund invested in a combination of shares, bonds and money market instruments.
“Money Market Fund” is a mutual fund invested in money market instruments.
“Protected Fund” is a mutual fund invested in a low risk fixed income instruments categorized fit for investment, and provides a 100% preserved capital protection and scheduled dividend payments.
“Index Fund” is a mutual fund invested in shares listed in the market index with the objective of maintaining the fund movement to be in line with specific indices.
“Participation Unit Ownership Confirmation Letter “ is a confirmation letter stipulating the amount of participating units owned by the holder, provided by the Custodian Bank within 7 (seven) trading days, at the latest upon (i) receipt of good fund and complete application to subscribing a mutual fund; and (ii) receipt of a complete application for redemption of a mutual fund.
“Units” is a measurement indicating the ownership of funds of each investor within a collective investment portfolio.
“Capital Market Rules and Regulations” is Laws of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia No. 8 of 1995 on the Capital Market.
